    Please join Omaha Association of the Blind at the 4th Annual Tandem Bike Rally at Lake Zorinsky on Sunday October 2nd from 10-2PM at Lake Zorinsky Shelter #5 (closest to the boat ramp) 

    If you are interested in being a tandem captain willing to ride with various members from the Omaha Association of the Blind, please email Cindy White at your earliest convenience. Helmets provided if you don’t have one, lunch as well as plenty of water & snacks. If you are unable to be at the event at 10 AM just let Cindy White know when you will be available, and we will plan accordingly.

    Aksarben Fall Tour - October 2

    Make plans to attend Restoration Exchange’s Fall Neighborhood Tour Sunday, October 2 fromNoon to 5 p.m.

    This year’s tour will feature a mix of Tudor Revival, Bungalow and Spanish Colonial style properties in the Aksarben neighborhood plus some beautiful backyard gardens.

    You can purchase tickets the day of the tour at Mount Calvary Church, 5529 Leavenworth St.or online at www.restorationexchange.org. 

    Tickets include a 40-page tour booklet filled with the history of the tour sites and neighborhood.

    The tour route is 2.6 miles – you can walk, bicycle, drive or take a free shuttle to the locations.

    The tour is sponsored by the American Institute of Architects, Omaha Chapter, and made possible by a grant from the Midtown Neighborhood Alliance.

    Proceeds will support the work of Restoration Exchange Omaha.
