Papillion, Nebraska 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Join us once again for the annual Omaha CycloFemme bike ride! Thousands of women across the globe ride on this day to celebrate women, create communities and remember how good shared momentum feels!
We will have two options this year:
1) A paved trail ride on trails around the lake, or perhaps venture out onto the West Papio to get in a few more miles and some extra time to chat!
2) A mountain bike ride on the trails that run through the woods and across the prairie sections of the park. There are sections of trail that are perfect for beginner mountain bikers, as well as fun dips, jumps and obstacles for more advanced riders, so there is something for everyone!
We will meet at the pavillion at the entrance off 96th street at 9am, split into groups depending the type of ride and how far you want to go, and roll out by 9:30. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Reschedule due to weather from May, The Community Bike Project is hosting a fundraiser ride on Sunday, June 12th to support the Youth Earn-a-Bike program. Funds raised will go towards the purchase of the new locks, helmets, and water bottles each student receives upon graduation, as well as the tools and replacement parts students need to refurbish their bikes. We had 109 youth graduates in 2015 and plan to increase that number in 2016. Help us continue to provide bikes, mechanical skills, and mentoring to youth by joining Lids for Kids!
Start the cycling season with a fun 25 or 50 mile ride that starts in Gifford Park, travels through Iowa via bike path, and returns to the Community Bike Project. Lids for Kids is a fun ride for everyone and perfect for beginning cyclists! We emphasize riding as a group so no one is left behind. Fast and slow groups keep the ride well-paced for all riders and guarantees an enjoyable social ride.
Register now to support youth cycling!
